Digital Photography Course.
Learn the fundamentals of digital photography,
an introduction into this fascinating field of photography. Work with Photoshop
and learn to basics of producing and manipulate images. W
e use the latest
cameras together
with Photoshop CS 2 where you will be given plenty of hands on experience.
We will also take you on location and show you the sort of images you can
capture which are best used for digital work. You will create some
stunning images! The course is combined with either our Pictorial Course or
a course of special interest to yourself.
Our digital courses are combined mainly with our Pictorial and Landscape courses,
as well as our wedding and portraiture courses.
Most of the work in this production was taken during our photographic courses. The music is from a film called Johnathan Livingston Seagull, that gave me inspiration at a time in my life that I needed it most, after the loss of my first wife. Its about a seagull that finds out what life is all about and the need to be different.
Len Bateman: Photographer of the Year 2005 Digital Art.
Len has
won photographer of the year for an image taken on one of his courses. The
image was taken at Milford Haven, and enhanced with Photoshop. The award was
presented to Len at the Awards Dinner held at Coventry with the SWPP. Len
was also awarded the R2400 printer from Epson.
During the year 2005 Len has won as many of eight monthly awards for his Environmental
Photography, Portraiture, Digital Art, Landscape and Pictorial.
Len will be lecturing at the next SWPP conference to be held in London in
January 2007.

The course will be based over two days, held
at The Penthouse Suite, overlooking Milford Haven Marina. There will be plenty
to photograph, with some stunning locations, cliffs and waterways. You will
be taken on location looking for images to use and manipulate digitally.
Plenty of time will be spend producing your own style of work. This is done
on an individual basis and we will show you how to get some unique images.
We can also work on a one to one basis, arranging a suitable time for both
parties.
We have available up to four computers, together with colour printers, both A3 and A4. There is also a 43 inch plasma screen to demonstrate Photoshop with. With some of the work we will produce a DVD using sound effects and fades to create some wonderful AV sequences.
