Jan 6th / 7th / 8th / 9th. Wedding Course.
Thanks has to go to all our models, Charlotte, Beth and Lora for braving the cold weather in a Wedding dress!! We covered all aspects of how to use different lighting situations found on weddings. Plenty of hands onus and demonstrations were given, explaining how to use this lighting quickly and without using light meters!
Some business was covered, as well as planning, wedding albums, presentation and use of digital.
Jan 20th / 21st. Cash from Camera.
A course just introduced to help beat the recession. This course is to show you how to make cash from your camera by looking al all the options open to you and how to get started in those fields. We will be looking a event photography, weddings, portraiture, PR, press and sports.
Jan 27th / 8th Portraiture Course.
A two day course showing both additive and subtraction of light. We will be looking at all the type of markets that are available to us and how to get started in each of them. There was plenty bog hands on with Photoshop, working with images and showing what can be done. Models were supplied for hands on work with all the different lighting set ups.
Jan 10th / 11th Business Course.
A two day course course designed to you own requirements. Here we covered web page design, marketing your work, putting together a data ba
se and how to set up your own studio.
Jan 27th / 28th Portraiture Course.
A two day course covering all aspects of studio and outdoor lighting. Models supplied and with plenty of hands on experience you were able to get some great images. Photoshop was worked with and you were shown how to enhance the image.
Feb 10th / 11th Business Course.
This is what it is all about, how to market yourself. A lot of useful tips are given with how to set yourself up in this competitive world and how to beat the recession.
Feb 17th / 18th / 19th Wedding Course.
Another three day course looking at all aspects of Wedding photography, from equipment to presentation and albums. Models were supplied and visits to the local church and reception were made showing how to use the lighting that is around us already.
March 3rd / 4th Wedding Video Course
A two day course, showing you how to produce award winning wedding video, the secrets of which we keep to ourselves, unless you are doing the course!
March 9th / 10th / 11th / 12th Wedding Course
A four day day covering all you need to know about how to photograph a wedding. The lighting shown is of a very high standard. From house start to reception, from direct flash to available light only. Plenty of hands on experience with models supplied on each day.
March 16th / 17th / 18th / 19th / 20th Careers Course.
A careers course covering five days of intense work, looking at marketing, lighting, prices, presentation, portraiture, weddings, commercial, school photography, litigation work, and much, much more. This course is designed with your own needs in mind.
March 24th / 25th Landscape Course.
Looking at how w
e see into an image. Delegates will be given various tasks that will show them how we break down an image and then be able to see the end result. All settings on the camera will be set to manual.
April 4th / 5th Portraiture Course.
A two day course looking at all aspects of lighting, from studio lighting to outdoor lighting. Models were supplied to show posing styles and how to obtain the right expression.
The lighting shown during this course is of the highest standard.
April 7th / 8th Landscape Course.
A two day course looking at how we build up a picture by looking some simple techniques designed to produce a higher hit rate of successful images.
We traveled to St Brides and Porthgain on the north coastline where we have some specacular scenery.
May 6th Specialist Course.
A one to one course for today designed to follow on from one of our business and wedding courses.
May 19th / 20th / 21st / 22nd Wedding Course.
A four day course looking at all aspects of Wedding Photography. We also coveree all aspects of lighting, from the house start to the recepttion. A local church was used to look at lighting inside and with models so that you can take some puctures yourselves.
Albums and different ways of presenting your work
was also explained.
May 26th / 27th Portraiture Course.
Looking at all types of Portraiture, both additive and subtraction of light. Models were supplied with plenty of time to take images to use for your portfolio.
June 16th / 17th Wedding Course.
A two day wedding course looking at all the different ways to light a wedding. We also covered some of the business side, with how to book that £2000.00 wedding and creating your own style.
July 6th / 7th / 8th / 9th Wedding Course.
A four day weddi
ng course covering all the different types of lighting that we use during an actual wedding. We also look at the types of lighting that will win you awards. Models supplied each day with plenty of opportunity to get some great images for you own use.
The course was limited to three people, which gave each one the advantage of having a one to one if required.
July 14th / 15th Landscape Course
A course which covered how we can see into an image, looking at composition and lines. There was plenty of hands on during the two days and then working with photoshop back at the offices.
July 21st/ 22nd / 23rd. Careers Course.
A three day careers course covering Portraiture, Landscape, Weddings and Business. These courses are ideal for those wanting to get started in Professional Photography.
July 27th / 28th / 29th / 30th Wedding Photography Course.
A four day course covering all aspects of how to use available light at a wedding, without the need of setting up multi lighting systems. We use the light that is already available to us during the day. We also visited Colby gardens, a beautiful landscape area with lakes, woods, bridges, waterfalls and many flowing plants. Local church's were used to demonstrate the lighting in and around the grounds.
August 11th / 12th Wedding Course.
A two day crash course coving how to photogr
aphy a wedding and how market yourself. Using local church's to show the use of available light both indoor and outdoors.
August 18th / 19th Business Course.
A two day course looking at how to market yourselves and how to become successful in the world of profe4ssional photography. We looked at the many different markets out there and what is best for you. Also covered were web page design and use of key words.
August 25th / 26th Portraiture Course.
A two day course covering all aspects of lighting. Models supplied for hands on experience. Both location work and studio work covered. The first day we visited Colby gardens, a beautiful landscape gardens where we were able to get some award winning pictures!

Sept 28th / 29th / 30th / Oct 1st
A four day wedding course now our most popular. Here we cover all you will ever need to know about how to be successful at wedding photography. From albums to obtaining your own style. Business is covered also and how to get your portfolio to get you started.
Oct 6th / 7th
A two day portraiture course, looking at studio and outdoor lighting. Plenty of hands on experience with
models supplied. Also covered is the use of photoshop and presentation of your work. How to market, pricing and types of markets also covered.
As well as studio lighting we also used Colby gardens for our outdoor photography, showing you the use of subtraction of light.
Oct 12th / 13th / 14th / 15th / 16th Careers Course.
A five day careers course looking at all aspects of professional photography, from different types of markets to actual hands on experience with wedding, portraiture and commecial work.
Jessica has just joined our team as a model and this was her first time as a bride!
Oct 19th / 20th / 21st / 22nd Wedding Course.
Another four day wedding course, now our most popular course. This course will show you all you will ever need to know about becomming a professional wedding photographer. Here we will look at advanced lighting style, where we will be creating subtraction of light outdoors.
The final day was running through a whole wedding, with bride, groom, bridesmaids and guests. A time limit was set and each image had to be lit a certain way, pressure or what!
Also covered is marketing and how to achieve that £5000.00 wedding.
October 27th / 28th Video Course.
This course will show you how to produce a great wedding video. Topics covered were lighting, sound, editing,
music, sequence making and camera techniques. We also run through a whole wedding from start to finish, showing you how we film each situation.
November 3rd / 4th Landscape / Seascape Course.
This course shows you how to "see beyond the image". We visit many local beauty spots along the coastline. We are not far from the holiday resort of Tenby, where the old harbour is, ideal for photography. We look at Photoshop and some of the things we can do with it.
You will produce some great images, either for yourself, or to sell via art galleries.
November 10th / 11th Wedding Course.
A two day course, looking at lighting basics, presentation, working with people, marketing and styles of work. Models were used to get some images showing the different types of lighting.
November 24th / 25th / 26th Wedding Course.
More advanced lighting covered on this course together with business covering how to market yourself. Lots of useful tips on how to get started and how you can charge £2000.00 a wedding to start with. Models again used on all three days.
December 1st / 2nd Business Course.
Its all about doing the business! Its 80% marketing and 20% photography. This course will show you how to become successful and market the right way.
December 9th / 10th / 11th Careers Course.
A three day careers course coving, Portraiture, Weddings, Schools, Promotions, Business and Lighting. Plenty of hands on experience and also working with Photoshop.
